AT&T 's Introduces Pay-As-You-Go 3G Networking

Up until now AT&T's wireless support for 3G-enabled notebooks and netbooks has been limited to contractual plans, but now the company is offering pay-as-you-go services for those with compatible devices. Dubbed the DataConnect system, users can purchase day, week, or month passes for a fixed, one-time price. The catch? Data usage limitations apply, but if you tibia money can stay within 75MBs of usage per day, 250MBs per week, or 500MBs per month, you should be fine. If not and you reach your allotted data usage, your service will cease. Users who reach the end of their allotted time or data usage will be given the option to purchase another 24 hours, week, or month's worth of service, which are priced at $15, $30, and $50 respectively.

Curious if your device is compatible with the DataConnect service? AT&T's official website has a gw gold listing of all AT&T-certified devices. Sessions also can be purchased on a dedicated section of the AT&T website, device SIM and other info required.
